Riyadh Hosts Global Conference for Giftedness and Creativity

RIYADH:  Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the third edition of the Global Conference for Giftedness and Creativity was inaugurated on Sunday by Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz. The conference, themed "Beyond Creative Minds," is organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). It is being held at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) from November 24 to 26. Platform for Innovation and Collaboration. The event aims to showcase the potential of talented individuals while fostering a comprehensive care system to support them. It also seeks to enhance global partnerships, promote international cooperation, and provide a platform for knowledge exchange. Bringing together over 300 gifted individuals and experts in science, technology, and innovation, the conference features participants and speakers from more than 50 countries.

Key Highlights

The three-day event includes:

• Six dialogue sessions.

• Eight workshops.

• The "Creative Creation" program with four tracks.

• An accompanying exhibition.

• Cultural visits on the sidelines of the conference.

Keynote speakers and participants will tackle contemporary challenges by proposing innovative and creative solutions.

Opening Ceremony: Prince Faisal bin Bandar was welcomed at the conference venue by prominent dignitaries, including Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation; Yousef Al-Benyan, Minister of Education; Suleiman Al-Zaben, Chairman of Mawhiba's Board of Directors; and Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Sharif, Acting Secretary-General of Mawhiba. This prestigious event reflects Saudi Arabia’s dedication to nurturing talent, fostering innovation, and strengthening its role in the global creative landscape.
